For a high-quality print, follow these art guidelines to ensure your design looks crisp, vibrant, and professional on your custom t-shirt:
1. Image Resolution & Size
✔ 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) – High resolution ensures sharp details.
✔ Actual Print Size – Design your artwork at the dimensions you want it printed (e.g., 12” x 16” for a standard front print).
2. File Format
✔ Save your design as a PNG with a transparent background, this format is preferred.
3. Color Profile
✔ Use the RGB color mode, as DTG printers process colors digitally.
✔ Avoid relying on neon or highly saturated colors, as they may not print as vibrantly as they appear on screen.
4. Transparency & Opacity
✔ Avoid semi-transparent elements – DTG printers may struggle with gradients and faded effects. Converting transparent
-elements into halftones is a great way to get a high-quality print.
✔ Ensure all elements in your design are at 100% opacity for best print results.
5. Background Removal
✔ If your design has a background, remove it before uploading unless you want it printed.
✔ Use a transparent background to avoid unwanted white boxes around your design.
6. Avoid Fine Details & Thin Lines

✔ Avoid very fine lines under 1-2 pixels wide, as they may not print clearly.

✔ Light Shirts: Most colors print well, but ensure your design has good contrast.
